Bail Out!
September 24th, 2008
Conservatives complain that welfare mothers spend $30 a month on cable TV. But when their yacht-riding, multi-house-owning, massive-risk-taking-but-not-allowed-to-fail billionaire friends come knocking for a Government handout, they triple the deficit with nary a peep.
$700 billion. Wow, I thought conservatives were opposed to socialism. And they keep saying they care about taxpayers. Nope. All lies. They just want to make sure that the superrich don’t have to give up their Ferraris so that the rest of America gets health care.
As for me, I’d rather see the welfare moms have cable TV so their children at least have something to do. As our penny-pinching-for-the-poor Government has cut back on after-school programs, at least the kids are off the streets.
And the corporate CEOs? I’d like to see them homeless and destitute. Oh they can still get blankets and go to shelters and eat at soup kitchens. I haven’t given up all my liberal values. And welfare’s cheaper than prison.

There are many poor options here. So many issues like , Where do they get the money for the parachutes, when did these banks actually realize their short comings, what where they doing about it when they were aware?
One of my concerns is where the future takes these banks.
Will America be left with less than a handfull of controlling mega powerful banks? As we have been seeing some of the bigger banks gobbling up the troubled.
As the greater says, “Thank you for banking at Wal Mart”.

The same people that are setting up this bail out will come in later and buy the securities at a low cost, sell and make an enormous profit. Its a scam

Newt Gingrich and FOX news Brit Hume disagree with the word, “bailout”. They want it called a “rescue”. So it will be more palletable to Americans.
You know like the RESCUE(s) that took place after Katrina….
